When I started Choice Construction in 2001, I had a simple idea: to build strong relationships with my customers while helping them achieve the vision of their dream homes. I wanted to create a unique approach to homebuilding that put my company above other builders. My years as the owner of several successful athletic clubs have taught me how to be an entrepreneur focused on customer service.

I later enjoyed a career with Westin Hotels, working on amenity development around North America — and learned the importance of presentation and relationships. I wanted to recreate that approach in my construction company. Although I have traveled extensively for my work, I took the opportunity to move back to my beautiful hometown of Gig Harbor. But I wanted more — I wanted to spend more time with my family, and Choice Construction was the perfect way to work and live in my community.

I’ve enjoyed watching the company grow and being able to translate my passion for presentation and relationships into the exclusive construction process we offer. I continue to enjoy the creative process of customizing and improving spaces and transforming them into comfortable and enduring homes that meet the vision of our customers. Working and living in my community gave me opportunity to be more involved, coaching athletic teams and being a member of several organizations, including the Peninsula Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association of Kitsap County and Master Builders Association of Pierce County.

From day one, I have adopted the philosophy of treating each home, no matter the size, as I would treat my own home. Many of my customers have become friends. Through its evolution, Choice Construction has remained firmly grounded in the belief that building lasting relationships is as important as building quality homes.
